With over 30 years of experience as a Social Worker, Counsellor, and Psychotherapist, Josephine Ng is dedicated to empowering individuals, couples, and families to overcome life’s challenges and achieve mental well-being. Holding a Master of Social Sciences in Mental Health and Certified in Sex Therapy, Josephine specializes in working with trauma survivors, individuals facing mental health issues, and those dealing with intimacy issues, and family and marital challenges. Her approach is client-centred and experiential, ensuring that each session provides hope, new experiences, and meaningful progress towards personal growth and healing. Beyond her clinical work, Josephine is a published author with research focusing on marital relationships and mental health.

As a Registered Social Worker, fieldwork supervisor of social work placement students, and clinical supervisor, Josephine offers guidance and support to other social workers and psychotherapists. She is passionate about nurturing the next generation of therapists and shares her wealth of knowledge and experience through clinical supervision and mentorship.

Josephine’s belief in the innate human drive for growth, healing, and transformation is at the heart of her practice. She emphasizes the importance of a secure therapist-client attachment as the foundation for change and integrates spirituality into the healing process, recognizing its essential role in self-integration and personal growth.

Currently, Josephine works with a Toronto-based charity, providing culturally and linguistically sensitive counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. As a mother of three and supported by a caring husband, Josephine understands the value of self-compassion, joy, and inner peace, applying these principles in her practice to inspire true transformation in her clients.

Rate

  • $200 per 50-minute Individual Session
  • $240 per 60-minute Couple or Family Session
  • $240 per 60-minute Sex Therapy
  • Receipts are reimbursable by most insurance policies
  • $120 per 60-minute CRPO Individual or Dyadic Supervision (The fee will be prorated for every additional 15 minutes)
